When India replied, Virender Sehwag was in rousing form yet again. Despite losing his opening Dinesh Mongia with just six runs on the board and despite seeing Sachin Tendulkar, walking in at No 3, make a cautious beginning, Sehwag continued to play in his usual debonair manner. He had scarcely carved a remarkable six over cover, taking his score to 25 off 22 balls and that of his team to 38-1, when the rain came pouring down.
