Zimbabwean coach Geoff Marsh proved a prescient man. The former Australian opener had identified Marcus Trescothick as a major threat as far as Zimbabwe were concerned. After England won the toss and elected to bat, Trescothick went on to prove Marsh right, putting the Zimbabwean bowling to the sword during a 102- ball 119. His fourth ODI ton followed the 109 he made against India in his previous ODI - the NatWest final at Lord's.
