Vijay Dahiya is a keeper who has done himself and his state Delhi quite proud in recent times. Although the stumper has not achieved anything spectacular, he has been more than adequate behind the stumps when given the opportunity. Branded a One-Day specialist, for reasons only the selectors can explain, Dahiya has been tidy behind the wickets and innovative with the bat. Against the mighty Australians Dahiya chipped, hoicked and lapped his way to a frisky half century in the first One-Dayer at Bangalore. Although he has not been included in the preliminary squad of 25 for the tour of Zimbabwe, it's possible that Dahiya might be included for the One-Dayers that follow the Test matches.
