Sri Lanka had packed their team with eight batsmen. And Jayasuriya must have been mighty pleased with his bowlers for doing such a wonderful job. Here was a real opportunity for Sri Lanka to beat the mighty Aussies. And they got off to a good start too, scoring briskly to make 21 in the fourth over. One delivery was to change the complexion of the game - Brett Lee charged in to bowl, the run up was smooth, the rhythm was perfect, and he unleashed a beautiful yorker at a scorching pace of just above 100 mph. It scattered Atapattu's woodwork, and also shattered the Sri Lankan confidence. In a jiffy, Tillakaratne and Gunawardene were dismissed to Lee's brilliant pace bowled at a fantastic line and length. In the meanwhile McGrath accounted for Jaysuriya's wicket, and when Aravinda de Silva was run out by a direct hit by Bichel - fielding off his own bowling, Sri Lanka were 51/5 in the 14th over.
