Robin Smith Testimonial 2003
I am delighted to report that a really excellent year came to a very successful conclusion on 17th December, with The London Christmas Lunch that was held at The Porter Tun Room at The Brewery. The actual total amount which we have managed to raise for Robin will be released sometime in The New Year but I can almost certainly say that we have achieved our targets and I am of course delighted with the way the year has gone. My thanks go out to all the people who have supported the events and, from the feedback that I have had throughout the year, it appears that almost without exception, they were thoroughly enjoyed by you all. I would also like to thank the committee who have contributed so much in so many different ways, our support has been superb. I have to make particular mention to the main organisers of the whole year, namely Clare, Anthea, Julia and of course Nigel. They have all been fantastic and I simply cannot thank them enough, they have certainly made my job as Chairman far easier than I could possibly have imagined.
