I feel that the calendar of events which the committee have arranged for Robin's special year of 2003 will provide something for everyone who wishes to take part and show their support. Anyone who has followed Robin's career with Hampshire over the last 23 years and shared in the pleasure that he has brought to us all in the County will, I am sure, want to show their appreciation by attending some of the events throughout the year.

Typically, the committee is very keen that the year should provide as much variety as possible, from a Gala London Dinner to a local cricket match, and I am sure you will find something that appeals to you.

In an era where there appears to be almost no loyalty in sport, Robin is almost unique for his dedicated and loyal commitment to Hampshire Cricket. It would be great if, as he nears the end of such a wonderful career, we could give "The Judge" a Testimonial year that he so richly deserves.
