(Harare 6th ODI - 4 Jul 2001)
Ganguly showed signs of regaining his lost form, making a valuable
effort of 62 off 87 balls with the help of a six and ten boundaries.
Ganguly had a lucky escape when Jacobs failed to latch on to a catch
off the very first ball, bowled by Reon King. In spite of the fact
that he struggled against Mervyn Dillon's pace and bounce, Ganguly
struck King for three fours in an over. He later turned his attention
to the gentle left-arm spin of Neil McGarrell, stepping out to loft a
massive six. Ganguly predictably fell to Dillon, scooping a slower
ball to Ganga at mid-off.
