(Harare 6th ODI - 4 Jul 2001)
India got off to a flying start thanks to their two senior batsmen
Sourav Ganguly and Sachin Tendulkar. Windies opening bowler Reon King
was belted around for 29 runs off his first three overs, which
included seven hits to the fence. The first wicket partnership yielded
133 runs in 26 overs and sealed the game in India's favour. Though
there was a brief period of lull in the middle overs as Mervyn Dillon
applied the brakes with a superb spell. Dillon went on to finish with
the figures of 10-4-22-1.
