Good Afternoon and welcome to cricinfo's live coverage of the South
African tour of India.
From Kolkata now we move to Mumbai for the fifth and final game of
the series.
Chasing 188, Smith and Hall decimated the Indian bowlers to win the
fourth match by a massive margin of 10 wickets, they now lead the
series 2-1 and they are just one win away from a Historic series
win.
It's a must win situation for India, they are playing for pride
here but that's a strong enough incentive for the tigers as they
look to draw the series and keep the Proteas away from that maiden
ODI series win in India.
Surprising the pitch at the Wankhede has a greenish tinge to it and
it looks like a sporting wicket, this match is nicely set up and
it's going to be a cracker of a game no matter what the outcome.
Conditions are tough, the expected maximum temperature is 35 degree
Celsius with humidity as high as 80 percent - Already a big crowd
is in and as usual the atmosphere is already charged.
K Hariharan and Darrell Harper will be in charge of the proceeding
in the middle, I Shivram is the TV umpire and Jeff Crowe is the
match referee for today's match.
Now for the important news, Indian captain Rahul Dravid has won the
toss and elected to field first.
South Africa have made just the one change to the team that played
the fourth match - Makhaya Ntini is back replacing Albie Morkel.
India too have made one change, Murali Kartik is back in the
playing eleven and Gautam Gambhir will be the SuperSub for today's

Pollock produced an inspired spell at the start of the innings and
when Gambhir was out for a duck, India were in a spot of bother
but Sehwag came out blazing and his 27 off just 20 balls put India
back on track.
At one stage India were 83 for 3 and the Proteas were slowly
starting to get a grip on the game but Rahul Dravid came in and
played a captain's innings and his 78 off 106 balls took India to
a comfortable win.
Indian were on top of their game from the word go - bowlers bowled
to a specific plan and the fielders backed them up well
And when it came to chasing down the runs they approached it with
cool heads and in the end they outplayed South Africa in all the
departments of the game
Under pressure the South Africans were not up to their usual
fielding standards, couple of catches were dropped which could
have changed the course of the game.
Smith - ' Another 20-25 runs would have been great, all credit to
India - they chased nicely, Rahul really held their innings and
did really well, i am satisfied at the way the guys performed, I
would have liked to have won the series'
Australian tour will be a tough one and we are really looking

we knew we had to restrict them to a decent score, Harbhajan Singh
