English is official. Many St Lucians also speak French Creole

Sub-tropical, with temps averaging around 27-30°. Sporadic tropical showers June-November.

Cars and SUVs are readily available at any of our many car rental companies. Taxi and public transportation services are also available. Please note that rates vary according to distance and route traveled.

Immunization
Not necessary, although Hepatitis A, Polio and Typhoid are recommended

Major credit cards accepted at most restaurants, hotels and major shops

Departure tax
A fee of EC$68 or US$25 or EUR20 (approx) for all passengers over 12 years must be paid on leaving the island. Caricom nationals are required to pay EC$35.
