This season The National Bank International Player of the Year was decided by the allocation of points to the top three performing players in each Test and One-Day International in the National Bank Series.
For each game The National Bank Man of the Match was decided by a panel of media commentators, Ian Smith and Jeremy Coney, with The National Bank cricket liaison manager, Gavin Larsen.
The Man of the Match received a trophy and $1,000 and was also allocated 5 points towards The National Bank International Player of the Year award. The panel also allocated three points to the second best performer in each match and one point to the third best performer.
