At long last, India has found a genuine spin bowler in Harbhajan
Singh. The sardar has delighted everyone by adapting so superbly to
the demands of one-day cricket, bowling an immaculate line and posing
batsmen a variety of problems through subtle changes in pace, flight
and deviation. He bids fair to become a serious contender for the
title of best spinner in the world. The Punjab lad showed in Zimbabwe
that he could play some splendid attacking cricket wielding the long
handle. Harbhajan has the potential to bat explosively in the end
overs, and thus extend his usefulness beyond his area of
specialization.
