India were set a target of 274 runs for a win. With the kind of pace attack they have, Pakistan must have been confident about their chances. It all disappeared in a few minutes. Into the fifth over and India had 50 runs on the board. Sachin Tendulkar played a knock right out of top-draw – one that you’d go miles and miles to see. His amazing stroke-play saw 18 runs being taken off Akthar’s first over. The bowling was blasted all over the park. Virender Sehwag too joined in the run fest – playing some cracking strokes. But then, Waqar Younis struck a double blow in the sixth over, getting rid of Sehwag and Ganguly for a golden duck.
