Sourav Ganguly might not have scored too many runs. But the
Indian skipper made up for that by claiming three Zimbabwe
middle-order wickets in a five-over spell during which he
conceded just 22 runs. Later after the Indians sealed an emphatic
83-run win, the skipper expressed his happiness at the fact that
his team seemed to have regained their spirit and belief. "I know
we did badly against Australia but I think some of the reactions
to our performance in that game were extreme. We were getting
into huddles because we needed to support each other during a
tough period. After all, we weren't getting much support from
outside the team," the skipper went on to observe with a wry
smile.
