West Indies v Zimbabwe 2000-01
Wisden CricInfo staff - September 10, 2002

At Brisbane, January 13 (day/night). West Indies won by one wicket. Toss: Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe looked to be on the verge of their fourth successive one-day win against West Indies when they had them 183 for seven in 38 overs, still needing 58. But Powell, already scoring freely, contributed 43 of those as the tail held out long enough for complete victory with eight balls and one wicket to spare. Powell finished unbeaten with 83 from 90 balls, having hit nine fours and a six. Zimbabwe's 240 owed almost everything to Alistair Campbell, whose 81, with four fours and a six, incorporated half-century stands with Carlisle and Flower. Streak's 34 from 28 balls at the end was almost enough to give his side a winning start. Man of the Match: R. L. Powell. Attendance: 12,034.
