Lincs draw neighbours in C & G Lincolnshire CCC Media Release - 16 October 2002
Lincolnshire will take on Nottinghamshire in the third round of the Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy, to be played on May 7 2003. The minor county earned a tie against their first class neighbours by beating Cheshire in the second round of the competition, having been given a bye in the first round. Both of these rounds were played at the end of the 2002 programme to ease fixture congestion at the start of the season. Last May, at the same stage of the C&G Trophy, Lincs went down to Glamorgan at Sleaford. Next year's fixture, which is likely to attract a large contingent of Notts supporters, will take place at The Lindum. © Lincolnshire CCC
