Sporting favorites turn out for Udal
Daily Echo reporter - 12 October 2002
STARS from the world of sport joined businessmen at the Concorde Club in Eastleigh last night as part of a benefit dinner for Hampshire cricketer, Shaun Udal.
Saints legend Matt Le Tissier, along with former Dell favourite Mark Dennis, attended the function with a number of Hampshire cricketers, including former captain and England international Robin Smith.
Udal, who was recently named Hampshire Players' Player of the Year, is coming to the end of a busy season of benefit functions.
Next week he has a clay pigeon shoot lined up at Finchdean.
A golf day is planned at Sunningdale Golf Club later this month, as well as a further golf trip to Spain and a dinner at the House of Commons.
The year culminates in a lunch at the Café Royal in London in December.
