The unfortunate bowler is Ian Salisbury, the Surrey legspinner, whose 20 Test wickets have cost him 76.95 runs apiece. In fact that's the worst average for anyone – not just from England – who has taken 20 Test wickets, as this Wisden Wizard page shows.
