The day after the test finished at the Adelaide Oval, the Barmy Army descended on the Old Adelaide Gaol.

And despite England's heavy innings defeat, the fans were still in good spirits and fine voice.

Money raised from the party was going towards the Leukemia foundation, and these funds were helped out by a good deal of generosity towards an auction of a variety of cricket gear.

Dermot Reeve was in fine form conducting the auction, which the most popular items were those signed by Michael Vaughan.

A huge cheer went out when a group of lads entered, each holding an inflatable kangaroo dressed in Barmy Army shirts - sure to be a huge hit in Perth.

And one local lady even bared her breasts - all in a good cause, as she said.

A good night had by all as the Army bade farewell to Adelaide.
