The Freddyhouse
Andy Clark - 7 March 2002

A group of England fans, guided by a Welshman called Mad Dog, found a Fred Flintstone wendyhouse in a toy shop in Bangalore and clubbed together to buy it. It had a door, side windows, a picture of Fred Flintstone on the front and 'The Flintstones' written on the sloping roof. It was erected in the ground and every time Flintoff came on to bowl the Freddyhouse was held aloft and "There's only one Freddy Flintoff" sung with gusto. The England players spotted it and seemed to enjoy it. It made Freddy bowl even better than he was doing already and provided lots of fun for everyone, especially in the local bars. Look out for it in Oz and the World Cup.
