The deal, which begins in April 2002, will run for three years and is worth in excess of £100,000 to The Rose Bowl. The agreement will see leading brands such as Foster's, John Smith's and Kronenbourg 1664 being served in the bars and restaurants at the ground.
Courage West & Wales | With the planned expansion and further development of sporting, hospitality and banqueting facilities at The Rose Bowl, including the recent announcement of plans for a 60-bay golf driving range and club house, Courage's support acknowledges the exciting times ahead.
"We are of course delighted by the Courage support and sponsorship," said Graham Walker, chief executive at The Rose Bowl.
"The bar, catering and hospitality events currently taking place in the Atrium are increasing month on month and with the opening of the main Pavilion shortly and our being awarded One-Day International status from 2004, The Rose Bowl is rapidly becoming one of the major event facilities in the south."
Courage West & Wales Managing Director, Gordon Johncox, commented on the agreement, "We are extremely pleased to have been chosen by The Rose Bowl, not only to supply our products but also to play an important part in the development of the leisure facilities at this leading sports venue.
"We look forward to a long and successful working relationship."
