Search for the loveliest cricket ground Taylors of Harrogate - 26 June 2002
Is your cricket ground situated in the heart of the countryside? Do you have a picturesque pavilion or even a traditional local pub for after match celebrations or drowning of sorrows? If so we want to hear from you! Yorkshire Tea and Wisden Cricket Monthly Magazine have teamed up in a hunt to unearth cricketing beauty spots in the UK and the Republic of Ireland. The rules are simple. All you have to do is write 200 words telling us why you feel your ground is Britain's loveliest. Include your name, address and telephone number and include photographs, negatives or transparencies. Everyone who enters will receive a box of Yorkshire Tea and a Yorkshire Tea Loaf from Taylors of Harrogate. The best entries will be used in a 2003 calendar and the winning ground will receive £500 and a special plaque. Please send your entries to: Wisden Cricket Magazine, Loveliest Ground 2002, 136 Bramley Road, London, W10 6SR before the 31st July 2002. © Taylors of Harrogate
