INDIA v ZIMBABWE 2000-01
Wisden CricInfo staff - January 1, 2002

. At Sharjah, October 26 (day/night). India won by three wickets. Toss: India.
India overtook a modest target with nine balls to spare and knocked Zimbabwe out of the tournament. Friend had struck twice in his third over before Ganguly, returning to the top of the order, shared a century stand with Kambli; a further flurry of wickets kept the Indians on edge almost until the end. Zimbabwe might have set a stiffer task if Campbell had been able to find a similar long-term ally. He batted throughout their innings to finish unbeaten on 105, with six fours and a six. Zaheer Khan added another four wickets to his tournament haul as he efficiently curtailed the closing stages of Zimbabwe's innings. Man of the Match: A. D. R. Campbell. .
