Andre Adams
Wisden CricInfo staff - January 4, 2002
Wisden overview An aggressive middle-order tonker and a handy swing bowler, Andre Adams played three isolated one-day games at Sharjah in 2001, before earning a recall for the VB Series in Australia the following year. With New Zealand building towards the 2003 World Cup, it was Adams's calm bowling ability at the death that inched him ahead of a host of allrounders competing for squad places. A superb fielder, he celebrated his call-up by running out Canterbury's Paul Wiseman with a 20-yard backflick to the non-striker's end. He made his Test debut in the soggy final match of the 2001-02 series against England. Adams has also represented Herefordshire in the C&G Trophy. Andrew Miller
