White misses one-day series
Wisden CricInfo staff - January 3, 2002

Craig White will miss the forthcoming one-day series in India because he is due to have keyhole surgery on his left knee which will rule him out for three to four weeks. He is expected to be fit in time for the New Zealand leg of the tour, and England are not calling up a replacement. White had a scan over Christmas after aggravating the injury during the drawn third Test between England and India in Bangalore. He had previously undergone a successful operation on his right knee, which ruled him out of the one-day series in Zimbabwe.

England will play six one-dayers in India, starting on January 19, and then fly to New Zealand for a five match one-day series in February and March, where White is expected to join the main party.
