PwC Test ratings
Full PricewaterhouseCoopers ratings

Less than 24 hours after he was confirmed as the new number one in the PwC Test ratings, the latest PwC ODI ratings revealed that Sachin Tendulkar is also the world's leading one-day batsman.

In the bowling rankings, Glenn McGrath and Muttiah Muralitharan fight it out for top spot. McGrath narrowly holds on to the No. 1 position, consolation for being held in second place by Murali in the Test rankings.

Darren Gough, England's only representative in the PwC Test and one-day top tens, leaves New Zealand as England begin preparations for another tough Test series. Gough is currently seventh in the PwC Test ratings, and after a strong one-day series he lies sixth in the One-Day Ratings. Marcus Trescothick (18th) is the highest-rated England Test batsman at present, while Nick Knight (15th) is the leading batsman in ODIs.

Nathan Astle's match-winning century in the deciding game means he ended the series as the top batsman on either side, 11th in the ratings.
