Harbhajan ready to resume
Wisden CricInfo staff - April 16, 2002

India expect Harbhajan Singh to be fit in time for the second Test in Trinidad starting on Friday (April 19).

Harbhajan sat out the drawn first Test after injuring his right shoulder during the tour match against a Guyana Board President's XI. He was replaced by Sarandeep Singh who helped to save the match with his batting but failed to impress with the ball.

"Harbhajan bowled for a bit in the nets today," said India's coach John Wright. "Things are looking bright."

That feeling was endorsed by Sourav Ganguly. "Harbhajan should be okay for the Test," he said. "I'm pretty confident he will be fit to play."
