What's on when

England's one-day cricketers leave for Zimbabwe next week, eager to bounce back after their disappointing summer. Nasser Hussain will be hoping his men can recreate the form they showed on the 1999-2000 tour, when England beat Zimbabwe 3-0 in a short one-day series. Fears that the tour might have to be abandoned were allayed last week, after discussions between the two countries' cricket boards. The two sticking points - player safety and media access - have both been overcome.

The 15-man squad sets off on Wednesday for the five-match series. They will play three one-day internationals in Harare, followed by two in Bulawayo, none of them under lights, so they will take place in the daytime in both Zimbabwe and the UK. Live TV coverage in the UK is on Sky, with highlights on Channel 4.
