NEW DELHI (Reuters) India's national cricket board has switched venues for the five-match one-day series against England to be held next January, according to a revised schedule. The dates of the five one-dayers are unchanged but the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has switched the venues around to make travelling easier, a board official said.
The first one-dayer will now be held at Madras instead of Calcutta, which will host the second match. Kanpur will host the third game followed by New Delhi and Bombay.
England play a three-Test series starting in December before returning for the one-dayers after a Christmas break back home.
The dates and venues for the Tests remains unchanged but the BCCI has made some changes in the schedule of the first-class
matches.
