Dighe to see specialist
Wisden CricInfo staff - November 4, 2001

BLOEMFONTEIN, South Africa (Reuters)
India's wicketkeeper Samir Dighe will see a specialist in Bloemfontein on Monday for an examination of the muscle strain in his back. The injury forced Dighe to withdraw from the ongoing first Test against South Africa only minutes before the match was due to start on Saturday.

Indian team manager MK Barghava said that the injury had failed to respond to treatment. "The team physiotherapist told me today that the injury has not improved," Barghava said on Sunday.

The manager also confirmed that Harbhajan Singh was recovering from the groin infection which also forced him out of the first Test.
