Chris Nevin
Wisden CricInfo staff - June 26, 2001
Wisden overview One of New Zealand's new breed of specialist one-day players, Nevin has given stout service for Wellington as a wicketkeeper and as a versatile, attacking right-hander who can bat anywhere between No 1 and 8. He scored a lively 74 when opening against Australia in 1999-2000, but was not used after moderate scores in South Africa later in 2000. With Adam Parore appearing to get better and fitter with age as a wicketkeeper-batsman, Nevin's chances of further international cricket will require heavy run-making in the near future. Don Cameron
