A tall offspinner of nagging length and deceptive flight. He is not a great turner of the ball and relies more on accuracy than variation. Arshad Khan has found it difficult to hold a regular place in the Pakistan side with Saqlain Mushtaq on the scene and an unsurprising preference for playing a legspinner and an offspinner when two slow men are chosen. Even so, Arshad has nearly always performed well, and has certainly deserved more opportunities although his lack of batting and fielding prowess count against him. Kamran Abbasi
