Mudassar extends Pakistan contract Wisden CricInfo staff - December 11, 2001
KARACHI (Reuters) "Mudassar wanted to be in a position where he could plan long-term for the team and produce consistent results," said cricket board spokesman Khalid Butt.
Mudassar played as an opening batsman in 76 Tests between 1977 and 1989, and was appointed coach in October – initially until January – after South African Richard Pybus decided not to resume his contract.
