You'll also find an explanation of why none of Tendulkar's innings quite reached the top 100, from our database director Steven Lynch. There's also a personal view from Sambit Bal, Wisden Online's India editor, whose mother stopped speaking to him for a while after Sachin's exclusion.

But it's more likely that you'll agree with Sir Donald Bradman, who selected Tendulkar in his alltime World XI, which was published recently. If so, let us know which innings you think was Tendulkar's finest in Tests, and explain exactly why you think it should have made it into the Wisden 100.

We will publish some of the comments here, and the best entry will win a trip for two to see Sachin bat in a Test match anywhere in the world.
