Majid Sayed, the Pakistani recruit of Biman Bangladesh has ushered his team to an exhilarating victory over Abahani Ltd, defeating them by 6 wickets today in BNS. Winning the toss Abahani decided to bat first in a wicket that seemed to a batsman's paradise. Mohammad Hossain and Azam Iqbal put on 124 run in the opening wicket in just eighteen overs forecasting a massive end up. It was Ziaur Rashid who got Azam (61) of his own delivery to give his team a break. Eight balls later, Hossain offered a catch to Athar Ali of Saifullah Khan for 65. The next two quick falls made Abahahi retreat from the assault and Asadullah Khan Biplob took the charge to carry on the innings to a safe mode.
