Following a meeting with the South African manager, Goolam Rajah; the captain, Shaun Pollock; and Herschelle Gibbs, the Match Referee, Mike Denness, has reprimanded Gibbs and has issued a warning to him for his conduct for the remainder of this tour.

The reprimand and warning follows the actions and reactions of Gibbs following his dismissal in the second innings of the fourth Cable & Wireless Test match at the Antigua Recreation Ground (ARG).
