Lahore: The much awaited Series logo was unveiled Sunday during an impressive and sophisticated ceremony at the Gadaffi Stadium. The PCB Chairman, Lt Gen Tauqir Zia performed the unveiling and thanked the main and other sponsors for helping cricket grow in Pakistan.

He appreciated not only the title sponsorship but also the efforts made recently by the sponsors to develop cricket in the country as well 'mobilising resources to acquire latest digitally operated electronic scoreboards as well as the replay screens'.

The event managers explained that the logo design depicts the skill and efforts of current Pakistan fast bowlers and named Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis.

The Pakistan Cricket Team, ready to depart for the ICC KnockOut in Kenya were in attendance, decked out in their smart green blazers. Other PCB Senior Officials, the Press Corps and members of the public watched the elegant ceremony.
