Indian domestic: Hyderabad complete a quick demolition job 27 November 1999
Hyderabad needed less than 10 overs to wrap up their South Zone Ranji Trophy league tie against Kerala by nine wickets at the REC Ground in Kozhikode today. With this win they move to the top of the zonal points table with 21 points from three matches. Last evening Hyderabad had already lopped off 51 runs from their victory target of 124, for the loss of one wicket. The overnight batsmen, Nandakishore and Vinay Kumar stepped on the accelerator today to wallop 76 from just 56 balls to terminate the match, extending their unbroken stand to 103. Yesterday Kanwaljit Singh became the highest wicket taker for Hyderabad in the Ranji Trophy in the course of his spell of 5-63 in Kerala's second innings. He now has 269 wickets in 88 matches, ahead of Arshad Ayub's 266 in 68. © CricInfo
