Indore: Madhya Pradesh, put in to bat by Railways, scored 249 for two in 90 overs at close of play on the first day of their Central Zone Ranji Trophy league tie here on Thursday. JP Yadav and Rajagopalan shared a first wicket partnership of 212 runs in 72.2 overs before the latter was out for 70. Amay Khurasia did not last very long falling for 22 just before close.
