Vidyuth, Yadav share day's honours

The first two quarter finals of the state level Cooch Behar Trophy for Under 19 cricketers began in Jamshedpur today. At the Keenan Stadium, Tamil Nadu, after being bowled out for 188 in the 58th over, hit back by capturing four Bihar wickets for 62 runs. After winning the toss and batting, Tamil Nadu failed to combat the wiles of left arm spinner Ajay Yadav who took 5-47 in 15 overs. The lone batsman to show resistance was captain Vidyuth Sivaramakrishnan. The 18 year old left hander who made his Ranji debut this season hit 60 in 74 balls with 3 fours and 3 sixes. Tamil Nadu then put the skids on Bihar with off spinner Tanseer Jabbar picking up 2-10 in seven overs. At stumps Bihar were 62-4 after 33 overs with A Hashmi on 17 and Satendra Mishra on 3.
