The first-class championship for the departmental outfits, which began with first round matches from Oct 17, will continue uninterrupted until mid-December.

There is a gap of two days in the revised schedule after the end of each round of matches.

The league matches involving nine teams will conclude when the last round of four-day matches starts from Dec 5.

The top two teams will qualify for the final, which is scheduled to be played over five days from Dec 12. The venue, along with the match officials, for the final will be announced at a later date.

The DTMC, in its meeting at Lahore on Oct 12, decided to split the Patron's Trophy and Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Grade-I tournaments on the request of the departments.

After the conclusion of the Patron's Trophy competition, there will be a recess of five weeks for the holy month of Ramazan before the remaining portion of the Quaid Trophy Grade-I between associations commences from Jan 24 next year.
