Sri Lanka: Union Bank to felicitate Sanath

Undoubtedly, the mercurial Sri Lankan Opener, Sanath Jayasuriya, chose to reserve the best wine for the last. Verliy it turned to be much money in the form of champagne batting, which laid the foundation for our historic victory over England at the Fosters Oval.

Batting with a vengeance, but yet with steadiness of mein, he with sheer disdain, tore the might of English bowlers, to leave them bewildered.

Sanath, with his wide flurry of strokes, some of which are unprovised, has become the envy of other known reputed batsmen, who suffer by comparison, and his horizontal hitting through extra cover for six, is characteristic to be extra ordinary.

To such a man as this, his employer the Union Bank, where the affable Sanath serves as Market Development Manager will say 'well done, we are proud of you' at a felicitation to honour him at the Hilton Hotel October 6 at 7.30 pm.
