Five players who were not available for the NatWest game are back for the three-day tournament, with former Worcester paceman James Brinkley, now with Essex, making a welcome return after an impressive Scottish debut earlier in the season in the Benson and Hedges Cup.
Also recalled to the squad are batsmen Steve Crawley (Grange) and Mike Smith (Aberdeenshire) and spinners Andy Tennant (Prestwick) and Nick Dyer (Edinburgh Accies).
Drew Parsons and Ian Stanger, who played significant parts in the victory over Worcestershire, have been left out. Dougie Lockhart was not considered because he is hoping to pick up his Blue for Oxford in the Varsity Match at Lord's.
The tournament begins on Tuesday when Scotland take on Ireland at Greenock and the ECB England XI face Wales at Hamilton Crescent, Glasgow. On Wednesday, the Scots play Wales at Cambusdoon, Ayr, with Ireland facing England at Boghall, Linlithgow, and the final round of games sees Scotland take on England at Hamilton Crescent and Wales meeting Ireland at Meikleriggs, Paisley.
