Murray, Thompson for Surrey

Discarded West Indies players Junior Murray and Patterson Thompson have been named along with Trinidadian Richard Smith to play for Surrey in this year's County Championships.

Both Murray and Thompson represented Kensington in the inaugural champions last year, while Smith turned out for Kingston.

This year the teams to play on their own will be Senior Cup and Junior Cup champions Melbourne, along with St. Catherine C.C. and Lucas which will play on their own for the second year.

The players named to report for training at Kensington Park tomorrow at 3:30p.m. are: Robert Haynes (captain), Wavell Hinds, Bryan Murphy, Laurie Williams, Robert Turner, Kevin Murray, Raymond Furguson, Mario Ventura, Nehemiah Perry, Dwight Mais, Ryan Cunningham, Smith, Murray and Thompson along with reserves Warren Meadwynter, Steve Wallace, Marlon Kennedy and Wayne Cuffe.

The press conference for the competition has been rescheduled for Sabina Park tomorrow at 10 a.m.
