PAKISTAN v WEST INDIES
Wisden CricInfo staff - January 1, 1995

At Sharjah, November 1. Pakistan won by five wickets. Toss: West Indies.

Saeed Anwar's second consecutive century was the highest score for Pakistan in limited-overs internationals. He hit 12 fours and three sixes and did not fall until the target was down to ten runs from 15 balls.

Haynes returned for West Indies after a throat infection, but managed only six; the innings leant heavily on Simmons and Arthurton, who put on 132 in 23.2 overs. West Indies had dropped Murray, their specialist wicket-keeper, and relied on Adams; Abdul Qadir made his first appearance for Pakistan since December 1990.

Man of the Match: Saeed Anwar.
