PAKISTAN v WEST INDIES Wisden CricInfo staff - January 1, 1995
At Sharjah, October 29. West Indies won by 39 runs. Toss: Pakistan. West Indies recorded their second victory in two days, thanks to Arthurton and Adams, who joined forces at an uneasy 82 for four to share a stand of 119 in 22 overs. Pakistan also lost their first four wickets in 20 overs, but the efforts of Basit Ali and Asif Mujtaba to rally the innings foundered when Basit was run out. Waqar Younis suffered a calf injury while bowling, which kept him out of the next three matches. Man of the Match: J. C. Adams. © Wisden CricInfo Ltd |
