AUSTRALIA v PAKISTAN Wisden CricInfo staff - January 1, 1994
At Adelaide, December 13. Australia won by eight wickets. Toss: Australia. After a rain-delayed start, Pakistan were pinned down by the accuracy of Whitney and May before Inzamam-ul-Haq and Wasim Akram added 57 in seven overs. Wasim hit 36 off 15 balls, including two sixes, one off McDermott over the 110-metre straight boundary, and three fours. But it came too late to get Pakistan past the 200 mark and Australia achieved their victory comfortably. Taylor hit just one four in making 78 off 109 balls.
