PAKISTAN v WEST INDIES Wisden CricInfo staff - January 1, 1994
After dropping five catches and missing several run-out chances, West Indies held their nerve while Pakistan panicked, losing their last seven wickets – four to run-outs – in 35 balls. West Indies had been 118 for five off 35 overs when rain intervened to reduce their allotted overs to 42. On resumption, they added 59 off their last seven overs, led by Richardson. But when Pakistan passed 100 in the 25th over, with only one wicket down, they seemed on course for victory before throwing the game away. Javed Miandad played his 200th limited-overs international, a mark passed only by A. R. Border and D. L. Haynes.
