ZIMBABWE v INDIA 1992-93
Wisden CricInfo staff - January 1, 1994

At Harare, October 25. India won by 30 runs. Toss: Zimbabwe. International debuts: D. H. Brain, C. N. Evans.

A target of 240 always looked out of reach for Zimbabwe after their middle order failed. A crowd of 8,000 saw the Flower brothers give them a sound start, but only Crocker, with a forceful 50, hinted at the necessary acceleration later. Earlier, Crocker had taken four important wickets, Manjrekar and made 70 to anchor India's innings after both openers fell with one run on the board, and Tendulkar and Amre played some fine strokes.

Indians vs N. F. Oppenheimer's XI at Randjesfontein, October 29. Indian won by 80 runs. Indians batted first by mutual agreement. Indians 207 for six dec. ( A. D. Jadeja 50, S. R. Tendulkar 100 not out; A. J. Kourie four for 50); N. F. Oppenheimer's XI 127 ( H. H. Gibbs 36; Chetan Sharma three for 49, including a hat-trick, S. L. V. Raju four for 11).
