Javagal Srinath might not have had claimed as many wickets as he would have liked since his return to the Indian Test squad. He has, though, at least been among the runs. Buoyed by his 39 in the first innings of the second Test at Chennai, the Indian quick, made rapid progress, while rattling 46 off 40 balls. It was not an innings that will make it to the coaching manuals but at least it served its purpose, helping India reach 358 before they were all out.

What was the turning point of the second day of the final Test?
The Parthiv-Srinath partnership
The Hinds-Gayle partnership
Harbhajan's three wickets
